Abstract
This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of jumping movements in Physical Education (PJOK) through the implementation of the demonstration method using agility ladder media among fifth-grade students of MI Nurul Ulum 2 Muara Burnai I. The research subjects were 21 fifth-grade students at MI Nurul Ulum 2 Muara Burnai I. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted collaboratively and participatively. The instruments used in this study included observation sheets for teacher and student activities, as well as assessments of learning outcomes covering affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative techniques.The results showed that the learning process of jumping movements through the demonstration method using agility ladder media can be an effective approach to improve student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle, the average student score was 54.29, with a mastery level of 23,81% (5 out of 21 students achieved the minimum mastery criteria). After the first cycle, the average score increased to 76.19, with a mastery level of 52.38% (16 students achieved the criteria). In the second cycle, the average score reached 88.10, with 90.48% mastery (19 students achieved the criteria). These results indicate that the demonstration method combined with agility ladder media effectively improves students’ understanding, motor skills, and active participation in PJOK learning, particularly in basic jumping movement material.
